Thousands of people are expected to gather worldwide for the
much awaited 29th Anniversary Celebration of the multi-awarded TV
and radio program, Ang Dating Daan, this October 31st, 2009.
As advertised on UNTV 37, the Members Church of God
International (MCGI) has approximately more than 25 special
locations here and abroad where congregants can conveniently
gather in huge numbers.
In Manila, the Araneta Coliseum or “The Big Dome”, one of
Asia’s biggest closed stadiums, will once again open its doors to
MCGI for their whole day of celebration starting from 7 a.m. until
9 p.m. (PHT).
(The coliseum has always been the choice venue of the
Church in the country’s capital not only because its
state-of-the-art, but primarily because it is the biggest in the
region.)
For celebrants coming from the provinces of Luzon on the other
hand is MCGI’s very own Ang Dating Daan Convention Center. This
venue, which is twice as large as the Big Dome, is the main host
of MCGI’s Thanksgiving service every Saturday.
Meanwhile, convention centers, stadiums, and auditoriums in
areas most convenient for the members to gather together await
celebrants in the Visayas and Mindanao Islands—the very same kinds
of massive venues that those in other countries in Asia, Africa,
Europe, the Americas, and Australia have for the global affair.
It will be recalled that since last year, the number of MCGI
members abroad who are native Westerners have had a staggering and
steady growth. And with the program featuring a presentation of
special video recordings from different countries, the celebration
is certainly going to be “colorful”.
